Reflections
Technology has a place in the social studies classroom. In fact, I think it brings many benefts, as the readings highlight. Technology has the ability to stimulate interest in learners, help learners manage information, documents, assignments and as a result knowledge. Technology provides opportunities for formative assessment. In the social studies classroom, distance learning equipment can bring my students places they may never have the opportunity to visit, thus making the content more real. Technology connects people. My students have used it to learn about historical events from people living throughout the country. Overall, I think technology allows for easier differentiation and it is more appealing to more learners. KY

For a reading task like the following one,think about giving more background and directions and list full title of the readings, so that the participants understand what to read and why (better learning engagement and orientation)
